Flashback: Parejo's first Valencia CF goal, at El Sadar
El Sadar holds a special place in Dani Parejo's heart, and with good reason. The ground, home to this weekend's LaLiga opponents Osasuna, was the scene of his first goal for Valencia CF, just under 7 years ago.

On an icy night on December 11th, 2012, Parejo lined up for the club in a Copa del Rey Last 16 game, and was provided with a chance from a free kick. The future VCF captain was given the nod to take the set piece ahead of other specialists, who had been instructed by legend David Albelda to leave it to the midfielder.
He struck it spectacularly to find the net, scoring the first of what is now 59 goals for the club. Parejo is now Valencia CF's first choice free kick and penalty taker, and has set up and converted a myriad of set pieces over the past seven seasons.
